I am a woman obsessed with story. I see, hear, and taste it everywhere I go. It invades my life, but for years I tried to shut it out and was successful. Finally I realized that without the haunting sense of story, my world was colored in mostly greys, and the bright shades I longed for were sealed away inside the magic of only one thing.Story.

Everyone has one. Each moment leads us down a path that becomes part of our story. Mine sounds simple. I’m a girl from a loving family, raised in Colorado, now living in Nashville and married to an amazing man who never grounds me, but helps me remember that the ground does indeed exist. Simple on the surface.

But dig underneath and you’ll find brilliant colors much like the ones each of you have. I believe the purpose of each story is to show those colors. Like everyone else, I am still uncovering mine.
